Jofra Archer’s Indian Premier League (IPL) stint has come to an end this season, as he will be heading for international duty for the limited overs series against Pakistan. The young pacer’s final game in the popular league was a match to remember, as he singlehandedly led his team Rajasthan Royals over the line with a fantastic batting display.
Although known for his lethal fast bowling, it was Archer’s amazing hitting in the pressure situation versus Kolkata Knight Riders that stole the limelight. He later thanked the Rajasthan franchise for believing in his abilities and affording him a chance to make his skills known to the world.
“Anyone that comes in to replace me and Stokesy will do a great job, I’m sure of that. I’m grateful for Rajasthan to take a chance on me, having not played any international cricket,” he said.
