Pakistan cricket team’s head coach Mickey Arthur has expressed his confidence in the squad’s strength to start the England tour on a winning note. Pakistan will be competing with Kent in a tour match on Saturday before their five-match ODI series against England, which commences on May 8.
“We will play with full strength against Kent in our tour match and try to give our England tour a winning start. Our focus remains on all three departments and the boys are working hard to get rid of weaknesses,” said Arthur in a video uploaded on Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Twitter handle.
The coach said that the team had undergone extensive training in Lahore and are focused on acclimatizing to the foreign conditions, before embarking on the all-important World Cup campaign.
