The Pakistan women cricket team is fast growing in stature, evidenced by their maiden ODI series victory over West Indies. The tiring efforts of the female cricketers are augmented by camps organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which help polish the talent of the existing crop of players.
Taking notice of the way the recent 20-day camp was conducted in a thoroughly professional manner in Karachi, former skipper Sana Mir extolled the PCB media department. Singling out praise for the proficient way in which press briefings were held, Sana expressed admiration for the standards of PCB’s media department.
The Pakistan women’s squad is now travelling to South Africa to participate in a 3-match ODI and a 5-match T20I series. This is a stiff challenge for Pakistan, but they are certainly equipped with the talent to excel against the Proteas.
