Former opening batsman and member of the 1992 World Cup winning squad, Ramiz Raja has reviewed the entire Pakistan squad which would feature in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
After the analysis, Ramiz has highlighted 3 key batsmen who could play the pivotal role of match winners in the mega event this year. Firstly, he named opener Imam-ul-Haq as a possible match-winner for the side as he has been in sublime form off late and has shown great temperament against top sides.
Secondly, the famous Pakistani commentator picked Babar Azam as a critical player for team Pakistan as he could play the role of an anchor at the top. He also believes that Babar could be a star of the tournament if he gains his form with the bat, coming from a rest period.
Thirdly, Ramiz named Haris Sohail as the game-changer who could win games for Pakistan in the World Cup as he could play long innings with great consistency if his knee does not create issues for him.
