Amir kicks on his surge for the World Cup spot

Mohammad Amir kicks on his surge for the ICC World Cup 2019 slot. The left-arm medium pacer was not selected for Pakistan's World Cup squad. Amir was added in the 17 men squad for the series against England.

Amir was not part of the team which played the practice match against Kent but he began his campaign against Northamptonshire on 29th April. Mohammad Amir got rid of Richard Levi on the very first ball of the match.

He ended up at the figures of 1-45 from his 9 overs. Although he could not pick up a lot of wickets, still this economical spell will give him a lot of confidence before the series against England.
