Reaching the quarter final of the last edition of the World Cup, Bangladesh’s team is positive about going few steps ahead and steal the thunder of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament. While this team used to struggle majorly in the past but a major improvement was recorded since the last mega-event.
All this has contributed in lifting the morale of the side as they now sit optimistic about beating the top sides in the forthcoming 10-team tournament scheduled to commence from May 30 in England and Wales.
Bangladesh’s wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim believes that they are fielding their strongest ever team in a World Cup tournament. Comprising of many senior pros, the team carries a lot of strength. The 31-year old stated that the round-robin format suits Bangladesh as it would give them a chance to play against all the teams. Moreover, the Bogra born added that his unit has the capability to reach the knock-out stage and anything can happen after that.
