The commencement of the ICC World Cup 2019 is inching closer with every passing day but the debate over the selected squads for the World Cup is still making rounds. Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman, Kamran Akmal is the latest player to rue about his non-selection in the World Cup squad which is to be held in England and Wales.
Akmal stated that along with himself, Fawad Alam, Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Irfan had been consistently performing well in domestic circuit but despite their good performances they are not being noticed by selectors.
The batsman called upon the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to question coaches and selectors on why these players were not included. “It seems like I am performing outside the country,” Akmal said.
