The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has agreed Chief Selector Inzamam-ul Haq’s request and has allowed him to travel to England, during the upcoming 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup slated to be held at England and Wales.
According to the reports, Inzamam will leave for England after Ramadan and will stay there for a couple of weeks. During his stay during the World Cup, he will watch Pakistan’s matches against Australia and India on June 12 and 16 respectively, alongside PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani and Managing Director Wasim Khan.
Moreover, the former captain will also be available for giving valuable advice to the players during the World Cup. It is important to notice that selection of Pakistan’s World Cup squad was Inzamam’s last assignment, as per his contract with PCB and his extension depends on how the team performs in the mega-event.
