The Australian cricket team has started its final training camp for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in Brisbane as a formerly suspended duo, Steve Smith and David Warner, have also joined the squad after a 12-month exile.
Skipper Aaron Finch feels that the return of Warner would be a massive boost for the team as he is coming off a successful stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and would look to dominate the bowlers in the World Cup as well.
“I think he is coming back with a huge hunger, not just to perform well for his IPL franchise and things like that but to dominate international cricket again. He’s a super player and we know how destructive he can be,” he said about Warner.
Moreover, Finch has also said that the left-hander seems fresher and motivated after his return to cricket as some time off with the family has helped him a great deal.
