The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is scheduled to begin from the 30th of May across different venues in England and Wales as teams are finalizing their preparations for the event which would continue for almost 2 months.
Former Indian batting legend, Sachin Tendulkar is expecting batting friendly pitches in England and Wales this year solely because of the hot conditions that would dry out the moisture from the pitches.
“I am told it’s going to be a hot summer. Even in the Champions Trophy the wickets were superb when the sun was out. In the heat, the wickets get really flat. I am sure they will give beautiful tracks to bat on,” he said.
Moreover, he also backed the Indian players to do well in the long tournament as he feels that every player in the team is experienced enough to adjust accordingly on such a stage.
