Mitchell Starc reiterates moving on from ball-tampering row

Even after serving year-long suspensions, a lot of uncertainties were there about how the Australian team is going to welcome Steve Smith and David Warner. However, things look to move smoothly as the word is that the bunch is integrating and preparing well for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 event.

Australia’s paceman Mitchell Starc has revealed that his team has moved on from the ball-tampering scandal as the unit remains focused on the forthcoming mega-event which would get underway on May 30 in England and Wales.

Sharing his feelings, the 29-year old added that the think tank is upbeat about Australia’s World Cup campaign and there is a lot of unity in the team which would be handy for a demanding tournament.

“It’s onwards, upwards and focused on the World Cup. It’s all rosy. We’ve all had our meetings and moved on. The meeting I was involved in with … 95% wasn’t about Dave and Steve and the group. It was more about where the team was going,” said by the aggressive cricket.
