All-rounder Jofra Archer has been in the news during recent times especially due to his exceptional cricketing abilities which have made him a hot commodity in franchise league cricket around the world.
The 24-year-old finally made his England debut recently when he played against Ireland in Dublin in the only ODI game before the start of series against Pakistan.
With the ball, Archer took some time to adjust to the conditions, however, he started bowling at 90 miles per hour (mph) in his 4th over and that is when the Irish batters found it tough to score against him.
Ireland’s Mark Adair played an impressive cameo on his debut as he scored 32 off 29 balls before getting undone by a brilliant yorker from Archer. The debutant ended up with figures of 1 for 40 in his 8 overs which was not a bad effort at all, keeping in mind the brisk start that Ireland managed to get against the new ball.
