South African pacer Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after suffering from a back niggle right at the brink of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
The pacer was having a brilliant time in India as he is the current purple cap holder with 25 wickets in just 12 games for the Delhi Capitals (DC). The 23-year-old has said that his pace is the key to his success across all formats.
“I think the pace is a real key to being a lethal bowler. The more you play the more professional you get; the more serious cricket becomes. You are forced to come up with ways to sustain yourself and gain skill.
In this day and age, it is important to keep evolving and develop new skills but also there is a need to stick to basics in tough conditions,” he said.
