The auto-biography of Pakistan’s former star all-rounder Shahid Afridi has caused quite a stir among the media and fans as it has unearthed some controversial topics in Pakistan cricket. Afridi has also shared some shocking details regarding his equation with former skipper Javed Miandad.
Afridi has blamed Miandad for showing discriminatory attitude towards him at the start of his career which laid the foundation a career-long tense relationship.
However, Miandad has finally responded to Afridi’s allegation as he said that he would not give any statement on the things said in the book, The Game Changer, as they do not make any difference.
“I leave all these allegations to Allah. How is it possible that a cricketer is not allowed to do net practice before a Test match. These allegations don’t make any difference, and all of this will be evaluated on the Day of Judgement,” said Miandad, while talking to local media. “My belief has always been that your performance speaks for itself,” he said.
