The England cricket team has started off the Pakistan tour with a win in the one-off T20I in Cardiff as they won the game quite comfortably with 7 wickets still in the tank. Jofra Archer made his T20I debut for England as well i.e., days after his ODI debut against Ireland.
The pacer bowled really well against the number 1 T20I side in the world as he ended up with figures of 2 for 29 in his 4 overs, along with a brilliant run-out to get rid of the best T20 batsman in the world, Babar Azam.
The 24-year-old pacer has, however, made it clear that he is not thinking about the World Cup right now as his main focus is to do well in the Pakistan series at the moment.
"It's game by game, I'm not thinking too far ahead. If I do well here, it will probably put my case forward. But I'm not focusing on the World Cup spot. Anyone would think about it,” he said.
