The Mumbai Indians (MI) have once again finished at the top of the points table at the end of the group stage after having a harrowing start to the season this time just like the past few years.
After thrashing the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 9 wickets in the last group stage game, Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma was delighted on seeing his team put up such dominant performances after a dull start to the season.
“It is something we know about the IPL that the business end matters, we always come back well in the second half of this tournament. In all the three trophies that we've won, the boys have picked themselves up in the business end,” he said.
Rohit appreciated the efforts of the entire team as every player chipped in at different stages of the tournament, thus, helping them overcome some strong oppositions.
