Rising West Indian batting talent, Shimron Hetmyer recently came to the fore after his destructive performances against the Indian side in the ODI series for his national side. The 22-year-old, thereafter, got an opportunity to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the season 12 of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
On his departure from India after RCB’s elimination, Hetmyer shares his experience of playing alongside some of the biggest names in world cricket i.e., AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli as he said that he learned a lot from them.
“To start was a little tough as I was just getting used to the environment and the IPL. It's fantastic, I've learned a lot from both AB and Virat and all the coaches. Just trying to take it one step at a time,” he said.
