The Pakistan women’s team has started off the tour of South Africa in a successful manner by thrashing the hosts in the opening ODI match by 8 wickets, thus, breaking numerous records in 50-overs cricket.
Former captain Sana Mir was the top-performer with the ball as she ended up with figures of 4 for 11 in 6 overs. The off-spinner managed to remove the top 5 batswomen of the opposition along side debutant Fatima Sana which eventually led South Africa to their second lowest ODI total.
The whole team was applauded by the fans as everyone cherished the victory of the green shirts in South Africa. They were especially impressed with the way Sana Mir bowled on a pitch which was well-suited for fast bowlers.
