England’s top-order batsman Alex Hales landed himself in trouble yet again after he was tested positive for a drug test. While he was initially in the 15-man squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 event but he eventually got dropped. Skipper Eoin Morgan also mentioned the notion of ‘lack of trust’ among the unit which became another major reason of Hales’ removal.
Now, former England captain Michael Vaughan has moved forward to make a massive prediction regarding the future of the hard-hitting batsman. After the recent controversy, the cricketer turned commentator is of the view that Alex Hales might not be seen back in England colors.
Reflecting on the matter in his podcast, the 44-year old added that Hales has lost the opportunity of playing in a major global tournament on home soil and he doesn’t see Hales coming back after all this. The Manchester born also mentioned the Bristol incident for which the 30-year old was handed a 12-month suspension as he opined that Hales’ actions lost him the trust of his team.
