Pakistan captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed has once again stated that he would like to have a flexible batting order and he will bat up the order at number four or five spot during the World Cup. The 31-year-old has batted at many different positions, including as an opener in the lead-up to the 2015 World Cup.
My aim is in England to bat four or five, throughout the World Cup. We've come to a World Cup, it's a long tournament so it's good to have a stable and set batting order in which everyone knows where they are batting,” Sarfaraz said.
The skipper hinted that they will shuffle their batting order according to the match situation like when they are fewer overs left they might Imad Wasim or Asif Ali as a hitter to up the run rate in the final overs.
