Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has transformed himself into a completely different cricketer in recent times as he has been playing the role of a finisher for his sides in limited overs cricket.
Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has backed his Mumbai Indians teammate to do well in the World Cup this year as he feels that Pandya would give an edge to the national side in the mega event.
“The way he is batting at the moment, it is phenomenal, and I hope he carries that form. He has been bowling well in patches but as I said its all about how you handle the pressure. I just hope that Hardik has an awesome tournament,” he said.
Yuvraj has also urged the team management to go with 2 frontline spinners in the World Cup as he feels that Hardik would fill in quite nicely as the 5th bowling option.
