Australian fast bowler, Kane Richardson, who was recently called up for Australia's ICC World Cup 2019 squad in order to replace injured Jhye Richardson, is happy with the performance of Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell.
He talked about Smith's ability to play a well-composed knock and Maxwell's unconventional tricks. He said that it is good to have them both performing well at the back end. Richardson feels that Maxwell will be the key for Australia in the last 5-10 overs where he can come and up the momentum along with Marcus Stoinis.
Steve Smith is back with the bang as he scored heavy runs in the warm-up matches against New Zealand XI. On the other hand, Glenn Maxwell is going into the mega-event with supreme form behind him. These are positive signs for the Aussie as their batting line looks pretty solid and well-coordinated.
