Pollard joins Trinbago Knight Riders for CPL 2019

Belligerent all-rounder of West Indies Kieron Pollard is all set to ply his trade for Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the upcoming edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The hard-hitting batsman who previously played for Barbados Tridents and St Lucia Stars would be witnessed playing alongside Dwayne Bravo. Rest of the unit will be picked in the draft to be conducted on May 22.

Pollard will be representing his home franchise for the first time in the history of the tournament. Director of TKR Venky Mysore is extremely delighted to sign a player of Pollard’s caliber as they are hopeful of defending their title in the biggest T20 extravaganza of West Indies. The Trinidad born himself sits optimistic to add another trophy to TKR’s trophy cabinet.

Carrying a plethora of experience consisting of 474 T20 games, the 31-year old cricketer would add value to TKR. This is evident from his numbers as Pollard has over 9000 T20 runs at 29.91. Moreover, he contains handy bowling skills with which he claimed 261 wickets at 24.56.
