Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee believes the pacers will have a hard time once the ball will get old in the England conditions. He believes that the conditions will not be suitable for the fast bowlers the matches are going to be played in June and July.
“So a lot of people think it will be a bowler’s wicket, but it’s not necessarily the case. I think they will be okay with the brand new ball, but once the shine goes from the ball it’s going to be hard work for the fast bowlers,” Lee said.
Meanwhile, the English pitches have been a paradise for the batsmen. We have seen the scores of around 350 have been the norm in England as the pitches have gone flat in the last four years.
