Former Pakistan fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar has endorsed the shocking revelations that Afridi has made in his recently published autobiography ‘Game Changer’. Akhtar said that Afridi has actually written less in his book about the harsh treatment he received from senior players during his playing days.
The Rawalpindi Express went on to state that if Afridi had said this all 20 years back, he wouldn’t have to write a book today. Following Akhtar’s supportive tweets, Afridi thanked the former speedster while stating that he has followed his footsteps in writing the book.
The all-rounder had claimed in his autobiography that the former coach of Pakistan team, Javed Miandad, did not let him participate in the batting practice session before the Chennai Test against India in 1999.
