The Pakistan women’s cricket team has been playing some exceptional cricket in South Africa as they recently tied an ODI game in Benoni. A final ball 6 by Nashra Sandhu helped the green shirts level the scores in a game which seemed like long gone for them.
Along with the brilliant fight back from the Pakistan team, it was also a special moment from Sana Mir who has become the highest wicket taker among women spinners in one-day international cricket.
Sana now has 147 wickets in ODI cricket as he surpassed West Indian spinner Anisa Mohammed (146 wickets) and Australia’s Lisa Sthalekar (146 wickets). The former captain showed gratitude after the 3 ODI as she cherished her journey as an international cricketer who has seen the evolution of Pakistan cricket over the years.
