Recently, Pakistan’s think tank was found reflecting on the upcoming mega-event as winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 tournament has installed massive expectations on the shoulders of the boys in green. Batting coach Grant Flower, while sharing his views on the forthcoming 10-team tournament, added that big tournaments are all about controlling your nerves and playing well under pressure.
The 48-year old shared the example of opening batsman Fakhar Zaman who was finding it hard in nets before his debut but the cameo against South Africa aided his confidence which benefitted the green shirts. Moreover, the Harare born is hopeful about Pakistan producing a strong show in the 50-over competition which is to commence from May 30 in England and Wales.
