Morgan admits tough decisions on English pace battery

Ahead of the glitzy ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament, English pacers are facing a stern competition to make it to the final 15-man squad. The inclusion of the skillful cricketer Jofra Archer into the mix has further spiced up the contest as the series against Pakistan takes a crucial position in the selection of English pace battery.

England’s skipper Eoin Morgan was found shedding light on the matter as he admitted tough decisions concerning the fast-bowling department. Impressed with the abilities of his unit, the 32-year old lionized the pacers for their contribution towards the team. However, the Dublin born admitted that 2 bowlers will have to sit out of the final squad which promises to contain massive strength for the upcoming mega-event.

Reflecting on the matter, the dynamic cricketer added, “Unfortunately, a couple of guys from this 17 will miss out, and it’s going to be a tough decision, regardless of how they perform in the rest of this because of what they’ve contributed over a long period of time.”
