Pakistan’s senior off-spinner, Sana Mir bagged the title of the most successful women ODI’s spinner in the world after she dismissed Sune Luus from South Africa in the third ODI of ICC Women’s Championship.
The former captain now has 147 scalps to her name in her 118 appearances for Pakistan. Sana has leapfrogged, West Indies spinner Anisa Mohammed and Australia’s Lisa Sthalekar, who had accumulated 146 wickets each. Consequently, Mohammed and Sthalekar have slipped on to the second and third position, respectively.
The 33-year-old is currently at the third position in the bowler's rankings but is expected to move ahead in the hen the new ICC rankings are released. In October last year, she had become the first Pakistan bowler to top the ICC rankings.
