Evident from the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 tournament, Pakistan is one of the teams who can pull magic out of nowhere. One day they could be found having a hard time against Zimbabwe and other day they would be decimating teams like England.
All this has earned the unit a tag of ‘unpredictability’ – a thing which isn’t going down well with the head coach Mickey Arthur and other members of the coaching staff. Sharing his views, the Johannesburg born added that he would like to see Pakistan entering the final four of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament, not because the green shirts are unpredictable, but because they’ve worked really hard. Moreover, the 50-year old believes that his unit is shaping up nicely for the forthcoming mega-event.
“Unpredictable – that’s a word that us as coaching staff hate. You read all the previews now, they say Pakistan are going to be in the top four because of their unpredictability. I say no. Pakistan are going to be in the top four because of the work we’ve put in, in their skills,” said by Mickey Arthur.
