Usman Qadir, the rising leg-spin sensation, is one of those Pakistani cricketers who are pursuing a successful career abroad. Playing only 8 first-class games between 2013 and 2015, the 25-year old was disappointed as he shifted to Australia and is now aiming to represent the yellow team in the 2020 T20 World Cup.
Sharing his views, the Lahore born added that he wasn’t treated well in Pakistan as he used to warm the bench for majority of the games. However, Usman is getting ample opportunities to hone his skills in Australia. This has allowed the Lahore born cricketer to dream big as he believes that he would get himself registered in Kangaroos’ squad for the next year’s mega-event.
“I want to play T20 World Cup for Australia next year and I am sure I will be able to get that opportunity. I am enjoying my cricket in Australia. I am getting proper chances to show my skills unlike Pakistan where I had to sit on the bench,” said by son of former cricketer Abdul Qadir.
