Former Pakistani batsman, Ramiz Raja, spoke out his views against the alleged ball tampering incident during the 2nd ODI between England and Pakistan when Liam Plunkett was caught swiping his nails over the ball.
Ramiz Raja said, "When you load the deck so much in favor of the batting side, what will the bowling side do? A better balance between bat and ball will ensure that none oversteps the laws. I think it is course correction time instead of rushing in to condemn or punishment."
Ramiz feels that the laws for the bowlers are really tough and the margin of the room is very little. This forces the bowlers to go against the rules of the game. ICC, however, has denied all the allegations of the ball tampering which took place in the 2nd ODI.
