Pakistan lost the 2nd ODI against England at Bristol and the hosts are now 2-0 up in the series. Pakistan scored a huge total of 358 but it wasn't enough against the no.1 ODI side in the world.
Imam-ul-Haq (151) scored yet another ODI hundred and brought up his highest ODI score ever. However, the matter of huge concern for Pakistan is that their premier batsman Babar Azam is not clicking at the moment.
Yesterday's pitch was a batting paradise for any batsmen in the world but Azam failed to capitalize on the good friendly conditions once again.
Babar's average has been dropped under 50 as well and the talented right-handed batsman is going through a rough patch in ODIs. Pakistan management will have to back their best batsman ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019 as the green shirts can't afford an out of form Babar Azam just before the mega event.
