Ganguly still ranks Pakistan among favorites for WC

All debates surrounding the predictions for the semi-finalists for the World Cup are generating heat, as the date of the mega event draws closer. 

While not many cricket pundits have given Pakistan much chance of making it to the final 4, former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly has tipped the Green Shirts as one of the favorites owing to their decent record in England and Wales.

“Pakistan’s record in England is remarkable. They won the Champions trophy two years ago and also won the 2009 WT20 in England,” Ganguly remarked in an interview. Impressed by the explosive batting display by Pakistan in the ongoing ODI series against England, Ganguly believed Pakistan had a good chance to excel in the WC.
