Ahead of the all-important ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament, the common notion is that the tournament is going to present batting-friendly pitches where bowlers are expected to experience a tough time. Recent history of English pitches including the ongoing five-game series against Pakistan suggest the same.
However, Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar isn’t faced by true batting surfaces as he feels that the Indian team has the arsenal to make an impact on any surface. Sharing his views on the upcoming mega-event, the Uttar Pradesh born added that the Indian bowling attack has been growing from strength to strength and this puts them in a good position to steal the thunder of the 50-over competition.
The 29-year old refrained to call his bunch the best bowling attack as he feels that these things can be decided by the performance on the field. Nevertheless, Bhuvneshwar expects the men in blue to deliver a lusty performance in the all-important tournament. The two-time champions will commence their World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 5 in Southampton.
