Watson promises a strong Chennai comeback in next IPL

Recently concluded edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) produced an iconic final between two consistent teams Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. In an epic thriller, Mumbai batted first and scored 149 runs which was defended to handle the defending champions a heart-breaking 1-run defeat.

One of the major talking points of the game was the prowess and dedication of former Australian cricketer Shane Watson. The 37-year scored a sensational half-century despite being injured as the pictures later revealed his knee to be covered with blood. To his dismay, Watson wasn’t able to win the game for his side.

Nevertheless, the Queensland born shared a farewell video on his Instagram account where he vowed to comeback strongly in the next edition of India’s T20 frenzy. Watson was extremely pleased with all the backing of his franchise. Moreover, the belligerent striker extended his gratitude towards all the fans who lauded his efforts and added that his team is confident of going one step ahead and win the trophy next year.
