Mohammad Hafeez made an appearance in Pakistan's side after a gap of almost 2 and a half months. Hafeez had to leave the national team after he was badly injured in Pakistan Super League 4. He underwent thumb surgeries in England during his redemption process.
The professor proved that he has still a lot of form behind him as he smashed a gutsy fifty on his comeback game in the 4th ODI against England at the Trent Bridge. He scored 59 runs from 55 balls including 3 sixes and 2 magical boundaries.
Mohammad Hafeez also bowled 8 overs in which he went for 48 runs. On a high scoring ground, his spell was pretty acceptable. Hafeez drew back the experience into Pakistan's side and Pakistan wants him to do well in the ICC World Cup 2019.
