England have completed a series sweep against Pakistan at home after winning the 5th and final ODI at Leeds by 54 runs, thanks to some brilliant onslaught from the top order and a fifer from Chris Woakes.
Pakistan had a horrid start to their innings as they had lost 3 wickets in just the 3rd over, however, Babar Azam and Sarfraz Ahmed led the green shirts to a respectable position in the game with their brilliant batting.
Both the batsmen got out in quick succession which dented the run chase eventually. Sarfraz got out in the most bizarre manner as he was just 3 runs away from a fantastic hundred, which would have been his first since 2016.
The right-hander tried guiding the ball to the 3rd man boundary and complete his hundred, but he only managed to edge the ball to the wicket-keeper Jos Buttler who showed great presence of mind and stopped the ball with his leg before running him out.
