Pakistan batsman, Asif Ali had a huge personal and irreplaceable loss as he has lost his two-year-old daughter, Noor Fatima, who was fighting Stage IV cancer. She was being treated in a hospital in the US where she passed away.
Before his departure for the limited-overs series in England, Ali had announced on Twitter that he is sending his daughter for treatment to the US. It was during the fourth season of the PSL that Ali had come to know about his daughter's illness.
The 27-year-old will now return to Pakistan following the passing away of his daughter. The team management will give him as much time as he needs away from cricket.
Before his departure for the limited-overs series in England, Ali had tweeted on 24 April that he was sending his daughter to the United States for treatment. He had also requested his fans to pray for his daughter.
Condolences poured in from his fellow teammates as well as the politicians, as soon the Pakistan Cricket Team Media Manager confirmed that the little princess (Asif Ali's daughter) lost her battle with cancer.
