The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the final 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup as a couple of surprise omissions have made way for previously ignored players.
Fast bowler Wahab Riaz has been added to the squad after the horrid performance by the young bowling attack during the recent ODI series against England. The pacer has been made part of the national side after playing his last game in the Champions Trophy in 2017.
After receiving the good news, Wahab took it to Twitter to express his excitement on getting the opportunity to represent Pakistan in the World Cup once again as he thanked all his well wishers for their continued support. Moreover, he also promised to play to the best of his abilities and skills after his surprise selection before the mega event.
