England's left-arm medium pacer, David Willey, is left out by England's selectors from the ICC Cricket World Cup squad in order to make way for the in-form Jofra Archer. The 29-year old was part of England's preliminary World Cup squad.
England's selection committee had to make a very tight call so they opted to drop Willey who took 4 wickets in his last 5 ODIs. Willey expressed his grief on Twitter and said, "What can I say, I am absolutely gutted?"
But he still backed England's World Cup squad to do well in the major tournament. Willey also posted a video of a cute kid dancing with little excitement. England will begin their world cup campaign against South Africa on 30th May 2019.
