Anil Kumble warns teams against taking Bangladesh lightly

From the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 event, Bangladesh seems to possesses a different energy and spirit with which they took down England in the mega-event and then later defeated teams like Pakistan, India and South Africa. Now, the unit seems confident to go well in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 event beginning from May 30 in England and Wales.

Recently, former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble reviewed Bangladesh’s World Cup hopes as he warned all the oppositions against taking this team lightly. The 48-year old believes that having a leader like Mashrafe Mortaza is a major boost for Bangladesh as he has helped them achieve a plethora of success.

Naming Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah, the 48-year old added that Bangladesh’s squad is engrossed with a lot of experience which cannot be neglected. Former Indian coach also sees strength in the bowling ranks of Bangladesh which would be key on flat batting decks of England. However, Anil Kumble opined that the young guns will have to step up and play fearless cricket in the mega-event.
