Unlike the past, Indian team is entering the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 event with a sturdy pace attack which is complemented by exceptional spinners. A pivotal member of the squad, paceman Mohammed Shami isn’t fazed by the true batting surfaces of England as he aims to portray his class like the last edition of the tournament.
The 28-year old is sitting supremely confident about outdoing batters in the forthcoming mega-event. Reflecting on the upcoming cricket gala, Shami added that he’s not losing his sleep regarding bowling on extremely flat decks. Instead, the Uttar Pradesh born revealed that he has improved his bowling arsenal which is good enough to topple any batsman of the event.
“Flat pitches in England have become a batsman’s paradise in limited-overs cricket. But a bowler has to be smart enough to alter his line and length according to the conditions. I have the pace and swing to outsmart them. I am not overly worried about it,” said by Shami as he oozes with confidence.
