In the build-up to the unveiling of the kit, the PCB  teased the fans with a Tweet saying  " We are ready to announce something shorty, can you guess what it is?".

The kit has different shades of green from dark to a lighter one., while the font for the team name, player’s name and jersey number is white. There is a star on the chest at the left-hand side, while the official World Cup logo is at the right-hand side.

Pakistan will now start prepping for the upcoming World Cup, as the side will play two warm-up matches, against Afghanistan on May 24 and Bangladesh on May 26, before opening their World Cup campaign against West Indies on May 31.
