ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament is going to serve as a swansong tournament for many veterans. Pakistan’s senior all-rounder Shoaib Malik is one of those who are expected to bid farewell to ODI cricket after the conclusion of the mega-event.
A week before the start of the 10-team tournament, Pakistan revealed their eye-catching kit as all the players were elated to don the green color. The 37-year old cricketer is no exception as he feels honored and gratified to represent Pakistan in a World Cup tournament.
Sharing his feelings, the adroit cricketer added that his utmost goal is to go strong and aid the country win its second 50-over global title. While Shoaib Malik possesses a shoddy record on English decks but the 37-year old is sanguine to overcome his horror shows in the 50-over competition starting from May 30 in England and Wales.
“It (World Cup uniform) is something which gives you a proud feeling. It is hard to fold my feelings into few words. All I want to do right now is to go strong and make my country proud in the World Cup,” shared by the enterprising all-rounder of Pakistan.
