World no.1 England have completely transformed their limited overs unit following the 2015 World Cup debacle. Creating an invincible force in ODI cricket over the past 4 years, England have been in supreme form with their batsmen unleashing destruction routinely.
However, England’s ruthless approach to batting does not really fascinate Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The star batsman has claimed that England are too obsessed with a no holds barred attitude to batting that they forget how to craftily construct an innings, especially in pressure situations.
“They seem to be obsessed with getting to 500 before anyone else. They smash it from ball one and for the full 50 overs. It could be pretty high scoring, but 260-270 is going to be as difficult to get as chasing 370-380 in a World Cup,” he spoke in the media talk.
