Mir Hamza once again shines in a county match

Mir Hamza, the left-arm fast bowler hailing from Pakistan, is rocking in the English conditions with his county team Sussex. Mir Hamza grabbed 4-51 in the 2nd innings of the county match against Northamptonshire. Mir Hamza took a cumulative figure of 6-104 in the entire match.

Mir Hamza has been splendid for Sussex so far. He has exploited the English conditions up to their full potential. He is a type of bowler you need in England as he has the ability to swing the ball both ways.

Unfortunately, Hamza has not got a lot of chances to play for Pakistan. He has only played one International Test match for Pakistan. He has taken 23 wickets in the last 10 matches he played for Sussex County Cricket Club.

Pakistan could have used Mir Hamza as their new ball bowler in the ICC Cricket World Cup as they have been lacking swing upfront with the new ball. But his performances surely made him a strong candidate to be selected for the next Test tour of Pakistan.
