While ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament is only a week away, English skipper Eoin Morgan cannot wait for the mega-event to start. The excitement and buzz in the English camp is understandable as the top-ranked ODI team seems to be the most favorite unit to claim the World Cup title.
England’s selection committee led by Ed Smith recently rejigged the squad where the most notable entry included the bowling all-rounder Jofra Archer. Morgan believes that his squad is carrying immense strength in all the three departments of the game which would aid him tackle the precarious situations.
On the sidelines of England’s World Cup kit launch, the 32-year old shared his exhilaration for the 10-team tournament. Morgan added that his bunch is in the best possible shape to claim their maiden major 50-over global title. Moreover, he also located robustness on the bench as a long tournament would need strong back-up players. The hosts will open their World Cup campaign against South Africa at The Oval on May 30.
