Usama Mir elated to join Caribbean Premier League

After the conclusion of drafts for the upcoming edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), the six teams have been finalized. All the units seem to contain impressive strength among their ranks. Newly roped in players were found delighted to get on board as they aim to deliver in the biggest T20 festival of West Indies.

Rising leg-spin sensation, Usama Mir is one of the few Pakistanis who are set to embellish the charm of an immensely celebrated league. Picked by St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, the 23-year old is ready to portray his bowling prowess. Usama shared his jubilation on his Twitter account and added that he sits exhilarated for his first Caribbean trip.

The Sialkot born player would join hands with Fabian Allen, Keron Cottoy, Afif Hossain and Aaron Jones to form a strong spin department. Moreover, the upcoming T20 frenzy provides an ideal platform for Usama to grab the attention and present a strong case to be included in Pakistan’s national team as Shadab Khan’s back-up. The biggest T20 party will hit the grounds of Caribbean on August 21.
