The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has joined hands with Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) in order to expand its horizon of Corporate Social Responsibility to a new level. The PCB and SAF have signed a two-year partnership.
The SAF is one of the most prestigious and respected charity organisations working in Pakistan and abroad and it is founded by the former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi. The partnership with SAF will cover non-ICC events, meaning the home series against Sri Lanka will be the first series when the SAF logo will feature prominently on the player kits.
Wasim Khan, Managing Director, Pakistan Cricket Board, said: “The PCB is delighted to continue to play their part in the progress, growth and development of the underprivileged citizens of Pakistan, this time through a partnership with the Shahid Afridi Foundation.”
SAF has been working extensively in various walks of life, including education and health and has made giant strides towards the improvement of the underprivileged, poor and deprived communities of Pakistan.
